Experimental microvascular allo and hetero grafts.

چکیده
Experimental use of alcohol-preserved allo or hetero graft vessels to interpose arterial or venous deficit which are about 1 mm in external diam eter and less than 2.5 cm long was performed. The preservation method is simple and inexpensive and the preserved grafts could be used almost per manently. The results were the same as one would expect from autografts.

Mechanism of the rejection of major histocompatibility complex class I- disparate murine skin grafts: rejection can be mediated by CD4+ cells activated by allo-class I + II antigen in CD8+ cell-depleted hosts
In the preceding article, we analyzed the immunohistochemical rejection mechanism of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I (H-2K)-disparate murine skin grafts, and showed that only CD8+ cells infiltrated at the site of the epithelial tissue of MHC class I-disparate graft. We also showed that perfect survival of MHC class I-disparate grafts were attained in thymectomized recipients trea...
متن کاملExtracellular Vesicles from MSC Modulate the Immune Response to Renal Allografts in a MHC Disparate Rat Model
Application of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) has been proposed for solid organ transplantation based on their potent immunomodulatory effects. Since side effects from the injection of large cells cannot be excluded, the hypothesis rises that extracellular vesicles (EV) may cause immunomodulatory effects comparable to MSC without additional side effects. We used MSC-derived EV in a rat renal t...
متن کاملCell-cell interaction in graft rejection responses: induction of anti- allo-class I H-2 tolerance is prevented by immune responses against allo-class II H-2 antigens coexpressed on tolerogen
The intravenous sensitization of C57BL/6 (B6) mice with class I H-2-disparate B6-C-H-2bm1 (bm1) spleen cells results in almost complete abrogation of anti-bm1 CD8+ helper (proliferative and interleukin 2-producing) T cell (Th) activities. Although an appreciable portion of CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) precursors themselves remained after this regimen, such a residual CTL activity was elimi...
متن کاملT-Cell immune reconstitution in pediatric leukemia patients after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation with T-cell-depleted or unmanipulated grafts: evaluation of overall and antigen-specific T-cell repertoires.
To evaluate the role of T-cell selection in the thymus and/or periphery in T-cell immune reconstitution after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT), we have analyzed the overall and antigen-specific T-cell repertoires in pediatric allo-BMT recipients treated for leukemia. We observed a lack of overall T-cell receptor (TCR) diversity in the repopulating T cells at 3 months after allo...
متن کاملPatterns of sensory and autonomic reinnervation of long-standing myocutaneous microvascular flaps and split-skin grafts applied to fascial beds.
BACKGROUND There is a paucity of reports in the literature examining the pattern of sensory and autonomic neural recovery of myocutaneous microvascular flaps and skin grafts to the lower limbs after a prolonged period of time. OBJECTIVES To investigate the recovery of sensation and autonomic nerve activity in long-standing split-skin grafts applied to fascial beds and in myocutaneous microvas...
